"RAINA"
Raina (known in her litter of 5 boys and 2 girl as Beretta in the Shotgun Litter) was named Singing In The Rain because of her happy go lucky nature and as a tribute to her like gentle-natured great grandmother, Raisa. When Raina's littermates had gone home, Raina found herself in the pen with Kes' younger litter - Anise (now Ptorrie) was an alpha girl in Kes' litter and she was not too fond of Raina at first, but Raina quickly demonstrated her gentle and sweet nature. She played gently and took "mothered" the younger pups, and she and Ptorrie soon became fast friends. Raina is a very busy girl, fun to live with and a dynamo in the field - it looks like she will quickly become one of Bruce's favorite hunting companions.
