Ruffian's first litter was to be eight puppies out of CH. Old Ridge Soar'N Pfalcon's Hudson JH.
| However, Ruffian began premature labor and despite all efforts the puppies did not survive. Her due date, August 29, 2009, was the late Michael Jackson's 51st birthday had he not died a couple months earlier, so this was to be the "Thriller Litter". Our intense sadness was only consoled by the fact that Ruffian was fine and came through the C-Section on that date without a hitch. Breeding is not easy for anyone. These pups were gone before we knew them, but not before they were loved and cherished by us...we will never forget them and who they might have become. |
