Bacall is a very happy  and playful but willful puppy that wants things her way!  She is very smart, she loves her toys and squeakers in particular, but she is the worst leash walker we have raised and most definitely has a mind of her own! Within hours after her last littermate went home, Bacall found herself in the freezing cold on the Jersey Turnpike looking quite shocked and pitiful - but happily NJ was just a stop on the way to Florida where she would spend the next few weeks of her life and have some wonderful experiences.  She is a very outgoing puppy, and she loves to play with all kinds of dogs no matter how large or small! we look forward to watching her grow up. Her name is in tribute to the great Lauren Bacall and we think she is as beautiful as her namesake...and the "Call Me" theme goes back to her mom City and her maternal grandfather JB. This girl is so naughty, but she entertains us at all times and never a day goes by where she does not make us laugh! she always has things in her mouth she should not, but she will bring it upon command and give it up - the funniest antic to date was when the Christmas Tree Topper Angel's head and hair was hanging down from Bacall's mouth - it is impossible to discipline a puppy while trying hard not to laugh. Bacall was bred by Carol & Bruce Phelps and Henry & Richard Bennington-Grant.
