Lyra (affectionately called LyLy)  is our Disney dog because her beautiful headpiece and soft expression remind us of a doe-eyed Disney character.  Lyra is an incredibly sweet and loving vizsla who loves everyone she meets - and she wiggles her entire body and smiles  when soliciting attention - she can never get enough loving. She is easy going and nothing phases her - a "go with the flow" kind of girl. Even when she is being yelled at for doing something naughty, she just wags her tail and looks adoringly! She also is a big jumper, and all four of her feet have wrongfully made their way on to our kitchen counters and table - she also has no gate respect and is frequently running around where she is not supposed to be!  despite her naughtiness,  we are so happy to have Lyra in our family. City has made it her personal mission to try and help us make Lyra behave! Lyra is a fantastic personal gun dog even though she runs a little too big and has become a favorite hunting companion for Bruce. Lyra also is earth mother when it comes to her babies, just like her mom - she usually tries to nurse them out the door.
