Martina was one of four girls and two boys in the songster litter named after well-known singers, her namesake being Martina McBride. We added another puppy to our family, after having finally completed the trials of raising two-year old Brookman, because Brookman needed a playmate! our next youngest is eight years old. The call name has special tribute to both of our moms within the name, and we thought that using a Martina McBride song as her registered name was very fitting under the circumstances. Martina presents her challenges (she loves to rip up fabric and is a megadigger), but she is nowhere near as difficult to raise as Brookman was (the difference being her mama is more easygoing).  Martina is the personification of sweetness and affection, surprisingly obedient, brings a lot of laughter into the house, and loves playing with her big half-sister Brookman.
