"RELENTLESS RAINA ROCKS!"
Raina, originally known in the "Shotgun Litter" litter of 5 boys and 2 girls as Beretta was originally registered with that litter name, but it did not fit this sweet girl! So we quickly filed paperwork to call her Singing In The Rain because of her happy go lucky nature and as a tribute to her like gentle-natured great grandmother, Raisa. When Raina's littermates had gone home, Raina found herself reassigned to the pen with Kes' younger litter - Anise (now Ptorrie) was an alpha girl in Kes' litter, and Ptorrie made it known that she was not too fond of Raina the intruder, but Raina quickly demonstrated her gentle and sweet nature. She played gently and "mothered" the younger pups, and she and Ptorrie soon became fast friends. Raina had a brief show career which we stopped because frankly we did not like how she moved, though thankfully through careful stud selection, her children move very nicely! Raina aways was in the field a total dynamo. Raina is a very busy girl, fun to live with and very affectionate - and she has become one of Bruce's favorite hunting companions and held that position for many years. Raina was also a lovely producer, and counts among her many beautiful children the very accomplished "Ellie" 16x BISS GCH Szizlin Rhapsody Never Say Never, JH CA DN. America's #1 Vizsla All-Systems in 2014 and 2016 (and #2 Vizsla All-Systems 2015).
